New Construction- Your new home is an investment, one you don't want to get wet 15 years from now. Should it get wet, you want to be sure you're covered. Most of us at some point have lived in a rental and ran into some mold on the bathroom trim because something was leaking in a wall due to system failure. You do not want this in your new home.

System Failure- It has been our experience that some products are prone to corrosion, cracking, and premature failure. A wet wall or drip from the ceiling. Most people call a plumber and accept the answer "that's just what happens over time". What has really happened is system failure, glue joints that weaken over time and wear out, or corrode. With PEX the joints will have brass fittings and it has been proven that brass is not affected by stress cracking most commonly caused by dezincification.

Let's say we come out on a service call and you have copper piping, just because we fix that one area of that one pipe doesn't mean there isn't corrosion occurring in another area. Once you have one leak there is a very HIGH probability that more leaks are on their way. Installing one area of PEX at a time is an option you have. New home owners that purchased an existing home; if you're experiencing leaks and want to overhaul your plumbing system, this is actually much easier than you might be aware.
